Operator Training System (OTS) is a real plant simulator combined with real system configuration and graphics enabling process control and monitoring. Difference between virtual and real process is that virtual process input and output variables are connected to the simulation model instead of the live plant instrumentation. OTS enables effective learning environment used for training of normal operation, start-ups and shut-downs, optimization and failure scenarios.
